1. What does it mean when someone pleads guity? Is that like this person is the defendant, and he/she says that he/she didn't do anything, denies that they did somthing? Or pleads guity means judge finally says he/she is guilty?
2. Contention: claim; thesis. So here it means demand for something?
3. Corrosive: eating away by chemicals or disease. So it means something is worn out by chemicals?
