I'm rather baffled about which test to take. Some firmly urge me to take CPE, while others say that TOEFL is better. Could anyone do me a favour and tell me which one is a better choice.

TOEFL is kind of difficult when you go to the listening part, but by trying and trying, you can overcome it. It is a matter of repetition until you have developed the appropriate listening skills. Do not give up. Others have been able to succeed. You will also be able to make it.

exusme ..but what's tofel or cpe .. is it a big exams ?
so you seem that you all are form the same country just to know wich is better..
every country havs it's own exam .. in Israel we called it the 'bagriut' exam
