I had an exam today and there were sentences to identify the sentence by saying is it relative adnominal or sentential, restrictive or non-restrictive.
For example: The money that John left his wife was very useful.
I think that this sentence is relative adnominal, restrictive
Another example: We test every bottle of Buzz in our laboratories, which is why we are so reliable.
I put this sentence on my exam as relative sentential non-restrictive.
ADNOMINAL- relative pronaun refers directly to the head noun, the antecedent is nominal.
SENTENTIAL-the antecedent is clausal, relative pronoun refers to the whole clause commonly intrduced by which.......
Is this correct, the theory and sentences.
I want to know if I am wrong that I could learn this again.
Thank you.............
