Please check these sentences and correct them.
1. When (the) sunlight goes through a/the prism, it [is, will be] split into seven colors.
2. When sunlight goes through a/the raindrop, it [is, will be] split into seven colors.
3. I saw Paula run/running in the park this morning.
4. I see Paula run/running in the park every morning.
5. I saw you as taller. or I thought/pictured you'd be taller.
6. I hope that he finds something cheaper. or My hope is that he find(s) something cheaper.
7. As is always the case, only the strongest survive/survives.
8. I once asked him which flavor he likes/liked.
