Dear Teachers!
Could you please check of these sentences are correct?

1. I haven't driven for a long time so I have been having some lessons.
2. I haven't been driving for a long time so I have been having some lessons.
3. I haven't been driving for a long time so I have had some lessons.
4. The Government has encouraged more people to use buses.
5. The Government has been encouraging more people to use buses.

Yes, all of these sound correct. If you are talking about recent government policy (which is what seems likely), I think #5 is more natural than #4.
