What is a paraphrase of (1)?

(1) Why worry her when it's all over? (Sinclair 1990:348)

I think (2) may work, but I am not so sure.
(2) You should not worry her when it's all over.

Part of the reason that makes (1) difficult to understand is that what "worry her" may mean. Is it just "bother her"?

Thank you in advance

1) What would be the point in bothering her now that it's all over?
