Hello everyone!

How do you say a person who is not cooperative?
I want to describe a person who is independent but is kind of maverick, doesn't like to share things with other people.
If I need to say that in a single word, what would be the best choice?

Thank you!

It sounds a little informal, but the word that jumped to my mind was a "loner". A thesaurus suggested "lone wolf". Others might be, "nonconformist", "individualist".
