loud - blaring, earsplitting
quiet - still, silent
new - brand new, [pristine, virgin: (but not in all contexts)]
old - aged, hoary (has white hair), ancient
hungry - starving, famished
thirsty - parched
pretty - gorgeous, beautiful
ugly - frightful, hideous, unsightly
expensive - priceless,
cheap - worthless
small - tiny, minute, minuscule
