Two elderly people are walking hand in hand down the street, resembling each other so strongly. Do these couples actually look alike, and if so, what's caused them to develop this way?

Q. In this paragraph, I think 'Do this couple acutally look alike...? instead of 'Do thes couples acutally look alike...?' is a right expression. What's your opinion?

No, you're wrong.

They generalize, talking about (all/some) couples similar to that one.

If Marius' meaning is the one intended, the sentence would be clearer with "do such couples".

I actually agree, Bridget, although the entire example is terribly constructed.
