1) Where did you come from?

I came from London.
I come from London.

Which answer is correct.
My point of veiw is as grammatical ...the first one is right.
The second one is correct because it is truth ( present simple )

"I came from London" answers the question, "Where did you come from?"
"I come from London" answers the question, "Where do you come from?"
