'He could bear it no more.'
I've learned that 'no more' is used with nouns. So I think the above sentence has to be changed like this.
1. He couldn't bear it any more.
2. He couldn't bear it any longer.
3. He no longer could bear it.
What's your opinion?

1 and 2 are formal, but the original is heard informally, probably esp said by African-Americans.

I'd say that all of your sentences, including the original one, are correct, but that you would probably hear your alternatives 1 and 2 most commonly. To me the original version puts a bit more emphasis on the idea, possibly because its wording is somewhat unusual. I think you would see it in print, probably as something said by the "narrator" in a work of fiction, much more often than you would hear it in everyday speech.
