Which are correct:

1-This bill is for you to pay.
2-This bill is yours to pay.

3-This apple is to eat.
4-This room is to sleep in.

5-This book is to read on a train.

I think they're all correct grammatically, but I like only 1 and 2 in terms of being common.

I think the flaw of sentences 3 and 4 is only that they are too short.

Let's help them:3-This apple is to eat on the bus.
3-This apple is to eat; that apple is made of wax.

4-This room is to sleep in, not for horseplay, children.
4-You might think this room is to sleep in, but it is just a prop for a movie.
I like sentence 5, but I would change the article this way:5-This book is to read on the train.
Otherwise, you make it sound like it is the kind of book that can only be read on a train, and not anywhere else. Can that be true? Maybe so. Let us know about this remarkable book. :)

Possibly; Murder on the Orient Express.
