All the teachers at my school are reading The Talent Code, by Daniel Coyle. It's about how skill grows in the brain, and how to get more of it -- super-interesting, and useful ( The Talent Code (http://thetalentcode.com/) ). There's some great stuff about what successful schools do to motivate students, too.

I think it will be a great start and you may find lots of participants writing their own or sharing with us their diary. I really agree with you about this idea.
