I looked at all of the topics and decided to open like this because everybody had said where they are from, how old they are or etc.

But I thought that If I opened a topic about global financial crisis, we would discuss and improve our language.

Let's talk about it.

It's not the most funny subject to discuss but in order to improuve our english we can try. What I can say: I hope it will not last for a long time. I'm looking for a job and it's very difficult now. On the other hand, there are a lot of advantages; for exemple, reduction of prices.

We dont need any funny subject to improve our communication skills. u should be able to write on any subject....i hav been to all scrap in this forum and everybody just introducing thereself...I am totaly agree with this subect and the person who introduce this!!!
Well, I am studying in UK and job market is not very impressive now. Everywhere job cuts and depression. People are struggling to get a new job!!! Even, real estate prices are going down day by day...Hopefully everything get steady at the end of 2009..lets see.......

It seems that friends around me aren't impacted by this financial crisis.They all keep their positions,except me.My company is broken down.And it will be sold to another company.Currently I am very depressed and have no idea about the future of my project.No matter thing is going on, I start looking for new job opportunity.

Yeah..thats right..anyway..its our respondsibility to find a job to satisfy our needs nd wants..ya, its only affected on some areas like banking nd construction.. I dont know globally, but here its badly affected on banking sector..

I am from Turkey and i graduated from university as a mechanical engineer this year. I found a job after after i obtained my degree and worked only for 5 months then i was fired because of the economic situations.

I think as the time passes by, the economy goes worse and worse and i dont know what to do. Will i look for a new job or Will i wait for the end of this situation.Also i must do my military service. :(

There is a big darkness in my future and i am very pessimistic.

Dear friend,

I know the situation of economy is not sustainable all of the world, but if you got fierd, it doesn't mean that this is the end of the world.

As friend, I tell you that chances are in your ways if you search and seek. Don't give up and be optimistic to the future.
You need to start again and try to find new job. This is the life and you have to work hard if you want things come to you easily.

Yes wardaa you are right. Life is a kind of an exam where we can find some easy or diffucult questions and If we want to be succesfull, we must do our best.

This was the another reason that i opened this topic so that discussing, taking morale from the others or visa versa.

Hi apple_chen do you really mean impacted or affected...? because in proper english impacted means unable to grow out because of being wedged against another tooth below the gum -a dental term actually...
