Hi,
I wonder how come the sentence below correct! Shouldn't we use "in" as the Preposition?
I can never sleep on a plane/bus/train.
Please help me. Thank you.

Mostly, "on a plane/bus/train (journey)".

And I can never sleep in a car, on a boat, on a motorcycle, on a horse, in a helicopter, in a balloon, on a raft, or on a skateboard :).

Be sure that "I can never sleep on a plane" refers to a plane in motion. It means much more than "while sitting on a plane".
