Which are correct:

1-In a battle like this, a soldier injured is a soldier killed.
2-In a battle like this, a soldier injured is a soldier dead.

3-A soldier injured was brought into the hospital.
4-A soldier badly injured was brought into the hospital.
5-A soldier injured in the streetfight was brought into the hospital.

#1 and #5 are good quality sentences. #4 is a good sentence too, but would be better as A badly injured soldier....

#2's complement (dead) loses vitality because it is not a parallel participle to injured, as killed is.

#3 is awkward and should be An injured soldier....
