Q1. Which of the following is(are) correct? Do they have different meaning? If they mean the same, which one sounds better?

1. After our conversation, I found this is an exciting opportunity
2. After our conversation, I found this was an exciting opportunity
3. After our conversation, I found this an exciting opportunity
4. After our conversation, I find this is an exciting opportunity

Q2. I dial in to a phone conference call to mainly listen to the conversation instead of talking. Can I say: I listen in the call?

Q1: This time the answer really does not depend on "After our conversation."

Choose I found this was an exciting opportunity if you want to discuss your opinion in the past. For example, you thought about the conversation during the morning, made up your mind over lunch, and are now meeting with your friend this afternoon. You are referring to the decision you made at lunch.

Choose I find this is an exciting opportunity if you want to discuss your opinion right now. You may have made up your mind earlier, but you want to feel immediate, now, present. This is a very dynamic way of expressing this thought.

Q2: Say listen in on (or to) the call. Listen in is the phrasal verb.

to show how one feels at that exact point in time, currently.
