Hi,
Are these two sentences correct?
1. Simple Linear Regression is most commonly used regression and assumed if not specified.
2. SLR is most commonly used regression and if not specified other wise, a given regression equation is assumed to be simple linear.
Thanks,
MG.

2. The SLR is the most commonly used regression and if not specified/indicated/mentioned otherwise, a given regression equation is assumed to be simple linear in kind/nature.

Marius Hancu,
Thanks.
The Simple Linear Regression
This always confuses me. I treated 'Simple Linear Regression' as a noun, and therefore did not use 'the' before it. What rule do you follow in such situations?
Thanks again,
MG.

So what? You're still taking about a specific method, the SLR one.

The SendEmails method uses ...
IMHO, the article 'the' here applies to 'method' and not to the noun 'SendEmails'.
Of course, the same argument can be applied to 'The simple linear regression' where it can be said that the term 'method' is omitted but assumed.
Am I making sense?
Thanks again,
MG.

No, the pertains to "SLR method" as a whole.
