Hi,
Please check these sentences and tell me if these have the same meaning.
1. I think I'm burning the candle at both ends.
2. I think I [bit, have bit, am biting] off more than you can chew.
3. I think I'm being so hard on myself.
4. I think I'm pushing myself so hard.
5. I think I'm forcing/abusing/overwoking/overloading myself.
Thanks in advance.

Please check these sentences and tell me if these have the same meaning.
1. I think I'm burning the candle at both ends. (Similar to 3,4,5.)
2. I think I [bit, have bit, am biting] off more than you can chew. (Different. This means you have taken on more work than you will be able to do).
3. I think I'm being so hard on myself. (Used this way, so = very)
4. I think I'm pushing myself so hard.
5. I think I'm forcing/abusing/overworking/overloading myself.
(Burning the candle at both ends does not always apply to hard work. Someone who stays out late drinking and carousing is also said to be burning the candle at both ends).
