I often hear words like "all", "call", "mall", ecc...being pronounced without the final L in American English. Is this true? If so, is this true also for words like "school", "cool", ecc... and any other word that ends in L?

You may hear this in some dialects. I don't think you would hear a news announcer dropping the final L.

A liquid consonant like L can find itself reduced to almost nothing if it falls at the end of a word at the end of a sentence. It is often more fully pronounced in the same word if another word follows. Has nothing to do with one or two Ls. The same peope speaking the same dialect will drop one the same as two. In the same way, emphasis on an ending L can also be characteristic of certain ethnic/social groups:

"Tha's coo' " (That's cool)
"Gotta go ta schoo' " (I've got to go to school)
"Kewel!" (cool)
