Hi,
Could you please explain the meaning of the preposition "as of" and give some examples.
And my second question is: can we make comparative and superlative forms of colours /bluer, whiter, etc./

Thanks a lot
Have a nice day

Could you please explain the meaning of the preposition "as of" and give some examples. (This is from http:m-w.com dictionary:
used to indicate a time or date at which something begins or ends <takes effect as of July 1>).

And my second question is: can we make comparative and superlative forms of colours /bluer, whiter, etc./ (Yes, bluest, whitest, greener, greenest etc.).
