Please check these sentences and correct them.
1. I was so shocked (that) I couldn't speak.
2. I was shocked (that) something so trivial could change one's life so different/differently.
3. I was shocked (that) John and Jill [had gotten, got] divorced a week (later) after they got married.
4. People were shocked that meat from a sickened cow apparently [had made, made] it into the food supply.
5. The boss was shocked by/at the report.
6. She was shocked and horrified at the news.
7. They were shocked and horrified to watch the [scene of the accident, accident scene] on TV.

1. I was so shocked (that) I couldn't speak. ("that" is not needed but this sentence is okay with it.)
2. I was shocked (that) something so trivial could change one's life so differently. (same as above)
3. I was shocked (that) John and Jill got divorced a week after they got married. (same as above)
4. People were shocked that meat from a sickened (diseased sounds better) cow apparently made it into the food supply.
5. The boss was shocked by/at the report. (either are fine)
6. She was shocked and horrified at the news. (fine)
7. They were shocked and horrified to watch the scene of the accident on TV.
