WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?
---------------------------------------
1>you can do this. (Present time, real situation. Example: You can come/go/swim/read, etc.)
2>you could do this. (A. Present time, unreal condition/situation. You could read this if you had the time. You don't have the time, so you can't read it. B. Past tense, real condition/situation. Example: You could run a 4-minute mile when you were 16).
3>you will do this. (Future fact. Example: You will see a street sign when you get to that corner).
4>you would do this. (Present, unreal condition/situation. Example: You would buy that house if you had the money, wouldn't you? You would speak Spanish now if it had been taught when you went to elementary school).
