1-1. I will cut him off from the midst of my people.
1-2. I will cut him off from among my people.
1-3. I will cut him off from my people. (OK. 1-1 and 1-2 sound archaic).
2. Many women feel cut off from the world if they stay at home. (Better: ...when they stay at home).
3. We have tried to cut ourselves off from old fashioned ideas of child rearing. (OK).
4. I won't cut him (anything) off my share. (Unnatural).
5. [After his death, his advocate says this.] He didn't cut you off completely. There is a generous trust fund for you. [What does 'generous' mean here? 'Kindly' or 'many' or something else?] (In this case, generous means more than adequate).
6. [Being dead, the father tells his son this] ("Being dead" is incorrect. He can't talk while he is "being dead." Suggestion: "When I am dead," the father tells his son, "you will get this house...etc.)

You will get this house, and your brother Bill will/can have the garden. The store will be given (to) Mary. (OK).
