1. I heard your husband was a teacher. / He used to be. He is a lawyer now.
2. I'm very sorry [for bothering, to have bothered] you. / You should be.
3. Is your dog dangerous? / He could be, but it's OK if you don't touch him.
4. Is this snake dangerous? / It could be, but it's OK if you don't scare it.
