I would like to ask you please to check on this summary.
corrections, changes or ideas are really welcome.

Summary

Japanese’s hardworking motivation is based on teamwork. This attitude comes from an ancient tradition of obedience, in which employees use to be very loyal to their companies.
We must include the fact of the encouragement of the society by identifying someone by the company he works.
Beyond or (besides??) this tradition, we can also point the Japanese’s philosophic basis, in which = (or a suitable term that I could substitute for this?? ) they believe that work is a virtue.
And the last but not the least, another important and practical element is saving for retirement whereas they face the necessity of working hard in their youth to provide for their retirement.

My changed version is below. Compare it with the original:
---------
The Japanese motivation for working hard is based on teamwork. This attitude comes from an ancient tradition of obedience, which today expresses itself in employees' loyalty to their companies. The society encourages this trend by identifying someone by the company he works for.
<strike>Beyond or</strike> besides this tradition, we can also point to the Japanese people's basic philosophical belief that work is a virtue.
Last but not the least, another important and practical element that motivates hard work is saving for retirement, where they face the necessity of working in their youth to provide for their retirement in later life.

Note: it is rarely good for a paragraph to be a single sentence. In fact, this summary could easily be a single paragraph. I did combine one sentence with the previous paragraph.
