Are these both natural? I heard only 2 is natural. Is it correct?
1. He always acts detestable.
2. He always behaves detestably.
Thanks.

1. He always acts detestable. I believe this is OK. The verb, "acts" is similar to the verb, "be." Example, same meaning: He acts rude/he is being rude).
2. He always behaves detestably. (The verb "behaves" needs to be followed by an adverb. Detestably is the correct adverb).
