Hi,
Please check these sentences.
1. All of a sudden, I felt rage for what he was doing to me.
2. All of a sudden, I felt rage for what he had done to me.
3. All of a sudden, I felt rage for what he did to me. [Can this mean the same thing as #2? Or does this only mean habitual actions in the past?]

2. All of a sudden, I felt rage for what he had done to me. (OK).
3. All of a sudden, I felt rage for what he did to me. [Can this mean the same thing as #2? Or does this only mean habitual actions in the past?] (3. is OK and means the same as 2.)
