Hi,
Please check these sentences and correct them.
1. I'm proud that I'm (an) American.
2. I'm proud [of being, to be] [British, an American].
3. I'm proud that I (can) call you my friend.
4. I'm proud [of calling, to call] you my friend.
5. I'm not ashamed [of being, to be] an American.
6. I'm ashamed [of calling, to call] you my friend.
7. I'm proud/ashamed that you are my friend.

2. I'm proud [of being, to be] [British, an American]. (OK).
3. I'm proud that I can call you my friend. (Better with can).
4. I'm proud [of calling, to call] you my friend. (OK).
5. I'm not ashamed [of being, to be] an American. (OK).
6. I'm ashamed [of calling, to call] you my friend. (OK).
7. I'm proud/ashamed that you are my friend. (OK).
