The words "feeling" and "writing" exist as ordinary nouns as well as gerunds. (Noun: "I have a bad feeling about this"; gerund: "I hate feeling this way.") It is when they are used as nouns that they can take the plural form.

The words "thinking" and "speaking" are simply gerunds; they have no independent use as nouns. They do not have a plural form.
