AT THE END is just at the right place
Eg: He did not bubbled the secret out even at the end of his life.
TO THE END means from some place or some time to some special place or time
Eg: We are in danger now but we must struggle to the end, to the time when the day breaks.
This is the first time I come here. I'm not sure if you can understand.Bye.

Thanks, Guest. I think that is a good explanation.

Here is a website that fives a lot more information about prepositions.
http://webster.commnet.edu/grammar/prepositions.htm

At is a preposition of time or place.
To is a preposition of motion.

Hi all,

Thank you for responding to my post.

Actually what I wanted to know was this. I knew I should say, "at the end of greeting message (or at the beep), press #". Is it correct to say ""to the end of ..." ?

Regards.

Are you putting a recorded message on your answering machine?
If so, you can say, "At the end of this message, press pound," or, "after this message, press pound."

Rusty:

"Are you putting a recorded message on your answering machine?" Yes, it was exactly what I was doing.

Please confirm that it was <u>not</u> correct to say "<u>To</u> the end of this message, press pound".

Also, if I wanted to refer to my posts here, what should I say "I have posted some grammatically questions at englishpage.com forum", or "I have posted ... in englishpage.com forum", or or "I have posted ... with englishpage.com forum" ?

Also, I had a out-of-boundary question: How do I color a portion of my post's text here? I tried &lt;font color="#.......">&lt;/font>; it didn't work out.

Please confirm that it was not correct to say "To the end of this message, press pound". (That's right. Say, "at the end of the message").

Also, if I wanted to refer to my posts here, what should I say "I have posted some grammatically questions at englishpage.com forum", or "I have posted ... in englishpage.com forum", or or "I have posted ... with englishpage.com forum" ? (The most natural preposition is "on." "In" is also OK).

Also, I had a out-of-boundary question: How do I color a portion of my post's text here?
(I have just learned this myself. At the beginning, type or any color. At the end type . Be sure to unclick the box "Disable BBCode in this post". And, be sure to Preview. I am always catching my mistakes with Preview. Sometimes, I miss them even then. :-)
