Hi,
Please check these sentences and correct them.
1. Peter had the taxi wait/waiting. [In general, "wait" is much more natural, isn't it?]
2. While Peter had the taxi wait/waiting, the fare was being charged. [In this context, "waiting" is much more natural, isn't it?]
3. Peter made the bus wait, so we could take it. [This is OK, isn't it?]
4. Peter made the bus waiting, so we could take it. [This is incorrect, isn't it?]
5. Peter made the bus keep/go waiting, so the passengers complained. [This is OK, isn't it?]
Thanks in advance.

1. Peter had the taxi wait/waiting. [In general, "wait" is much more natural, isn't it?] (Both are OK, but the meaning is different.
Peter had the taxi wait = Peter asked/caused the taxi to wait.
Peter had the taxi waiting = The waiting taxi/the taxi which was waiting/ was due to Peter's efforts).
2. While Peter had the taxi wait/waiting, the fare was being charged. [In this context, "waiting" is much more natural, isn't it?] (Yes, waiting and being charged are both on-going).
3. Peter made the bus wait, so we could take it. [This is OK, isn't it?] (Yes).
4. Peter made the bus waiting, so we could take it. [This is incorrect, isn't it?](Yes, it's incorrect).
5. Peter made the bus keep/go waiting, so the passengers complained. [This is OK, isn't it?] (No. I think there is a typo. Peter made the bus keep going/waiting.
