Hi,
Please check these sentences and correct them.
1. Nobody criticizes me [face to face, to my face, in the face of me, in front of me], but they do [behind me, behind my back, in the back of me].
2. They don't say it [face to face, to my face, in the face of me, in front of me], but they criticize me behind me for not attending meetings every day.
3. My critics say that my writings are an offense to moral decency and Christian civilization.
4. Some of my critics say that my background is undistinguished.
5. My critics might say that the melodies are glorious.
6. My critics say that I cater only to the wealthy, but the truth is I cater to my best customers.
7. Although my critics say that I have no proof that this happens, I say there is a growing amount of evidence.
8. Many of my critics say that I should reveal my sources, but I believe that it is the historian's duty to list sources and attribute exact references; it is, on the other hand, the journalist's obligation to protect the privacy of those who have befriended him with information.

1. Nobody criticizes me [face to face, to my face, <strike>in the face of me</strike>, in front of me (possible but less common)], but they do <strike>. [The common phrases here are "to my face" and "behind my back".]
2. They don't say it [<strike>face to face,</strike> to my face, <strike>in the face of me</strike>, in front of me], but they criticize me behind <strike>me</strike> [b]my back for not attending meetings every day.

4. Some of my critics say that my background is undistinguished. [Ok.]
5. My critics might say that the melodies are glorious. [Grammatically fine, but it doesn't sound to me like criticism.]
