Hi,
Please help me with these.
- He was caught stealing an old lady's purse on the/a train.
- He was caught stealing the purse of an old lady on the/a train.
Q1. Which is more natural, 'a' or 'the'? I don't want to say a specified or previously-mentioned train.
Q2. Which is a correct or everyday expression, 'an old lady's purse' or 'the purse of an old lady'
Thanks in advance.
