Do you think these sentences are unnatural?

1) I'm careful to listen to them. (I read that "be careful not to" is more common.)

2) I have ten years experience. (can it be OK without an aposrtophy?)

3)I had a fit! (what I'm trying to say is "I'm angry at you now, not in the past!" Or should I rather say either "I'm having a fit." or "I have a fit."? )

4 bring along a lot of pain. ("bring about a lot of pain" is more common, right? )

1) I'm careful to listen to them. (Natural).
I listen to them carefully. (Natural).
(I read that "be careful not to" is more common.) (Common)

2) I have ten years experience. (can it be OK without an aposrtophy?)(Yes).

3)I had a fit! (what I'm trying to say is "I'm angry at you now, not in the past!" Or should I rather say either "I'm having a fit." or "I have a fit."? )
("I'm having a fit" when you mean at this moment).

4 bring along a lot of pain. ("bring about a lot of pain" is more common, right? )(You can't substitute "along" for "about" in this context. Bring about means cause something to happen. Bring along means lead or carry something with you.)

Thanks Rutsy,

"bring along a lot of pain" sounds odd, right?
