In these stories we find the original ideas of gods, demons and monsters.

Does each idea correspond to each god, demon and monster (each idea being the description, the mental image of a god, demon or monster) or all we know is that we have a number of ideas about gods, demons and monsters? Perhaps both cases are possible?

I think that gods, demons and monsters are being grouped as, for example, mythical beings. The stories uncover ideas that were held in the early history of mankind.
