Hi everybody

I am in the middle of a kind of online software translation job, and I cannot figure out which of the sentences below (in bold) is "the best" or "the only correct one". Any suggestions (if possible with grammar reference)?

-> you click "bookmark" to bookmark a page, you get the following message:

OR

You already bookmarked this page.

So which one is correct? Or are both possible? The latter seems to be true, as far as I am concerned.

Anyway, thanks for your opinions/posts...

I'd go with (1). Looking at the concordance of word usage in computing at http://www.edict.com.hk/scripts/WConcApp.dll , I find most entries: have/has/is/are already + verb.
