Are these all acceptable? If so, which is natural and common?

1-1. There is no time to [lose, be lost].
1-2. We have no time to [lose, be lost].

2. There is nothing to [fear, be feared].
3. There is nothing to [desire, be desired].
4. Your explanation leaves nothing to [desire, be desired].
5. The next thing to [consider. be considered] is the cost.
6. A black suit is the proper thing to [wear, be worn] in the funeral.
7. He is not a man to know. or He is not a man who deserves to know.
