Hi Alfred Jimmy Page --
This forum (English Language Questions) is used for posting questions about English; things like meaning of words or sentences, grammar, usage, etc. People also sometimes post sentences or short paragraphs to be checked, in order to learn about parts of English where they might make mistakes.

The point is that our discussions start with specific questions. If you just want people to write to you in general, you might get better results by posting on the other EnglishPage.com forums like the one called Student Discussions.

Of course if you have questions about English, you are very welcome to ask them here, and we'll try to answer here if we can.

Hi Jimmy Page: Did you ask the meaning of "take for granted." Here is the definition.
- take for granted
1 : to assume as true, real, or expected
2 : to value too lightly

This came from One Look Dictionary. It is very helpful.
