Hi,
Which sentence is correct or common?
1-1. I've met him this morning.
1-2. I met him this morning.
2-1. I have already had 5 cups of coffee [this morning, today].
2-2. I already had 5 cups of coffee [this morning, today].

1-1. I've met him this morning. (Uncommon. Met can be a single, completed event, or it can be a meeting that continued for some time. If you want to express the latter, the most natual way is: "I've met <u>with</u> him this morning").
1-2. I met him this morning. (Natural).
2-1. I have already had 5 cups of coffee [this morning, today]. (Natural).
2-2. I already had 5 cups of coffee [this morning, today]. (I think it's non-standard, but frequently heard).
