does anybody know a better word for CUCKOLD. According to the dictionary it is an old-fashioned word. thank you in advance

Cuckold:
noun: a man whose wife committed adultery
verb: be sexually unfaithful to one's partner in marriage

It seems that the verb to cuckold has been replaced nowadays by the verbal phrase to cheat on.
Example: She cheats on her husband. I don't know any one-word noun to replace cuckold,
although I expect there may be slang words. The closest I can come is: a man whose wife cheats on him.
