Which of these two sentences is correct (or are they both acceptable):

1. I was under the impression that you have always had a good relationship with your father.

2. I was under the impression that you had always had a good relationship with your father.

AND

Which of these two sentences is correct (or are they both acceptable):

1. How do you think your boyfriend would feel about not being the best you have ever had?

2. How do you think your boyfriend would feel about not being the best you had ever had?
