B)Please explain the verb TO BE in the following sentence!

I wonder what I AM to say now because I don't know if I shall see you agian.

I think it, itself....
I think it, by itself....
I think, by itself, it....

B)Please explain the verb TO BE in the following sentence!

I wonder what I AM to say now because I don't know if I shall see you agian.
(What I am to say means what I should say or what I am supposed/expected/required to say).
