Please tell me if these are acceptable.
1. He sealed the window shut/closed.
2. He sealed shut/closed the window.
3. I can't open this door. / It's sealed shut/closed, because we don't use it.

In each case shut is natural. Closed has the same meaning, but it sounds unnatural.

How about these expressions? Please tell me the natural idiomatic ones.
1. She zipped his bag open/closed/shut.
2. She zipped open/closed/shut his bag.
3. She zipped up/down her dress.

1. She zipped his bag <strike>open/closed/</strike>shut.
1a. She unzipped his bag. (She opened it).
2. She zipped open/closed/shut his bag. (Unnatural).
3. She zipped up/down her dress. (Zipped up is OK. Unzipped is more natural than zipped down).
