Are these all OK and natural?

2. The housewarming party lasted [until after, over, behind, above] midnight.
3. He got married to a young lady, who was 17 years younger than he was.
4. If you [can, are able to] solve this problem in 10 minutes, you must be a real genius.
5. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, But if I did, I'm so sorry.
6. The neighbor dropped in for a short visit. or The neighbor just visited me for a short.
7. She usually double/triple checks her shopping list before she goes out.
8. He examined the intercom again, but seemed to have forgotten how it worked.
