I would like to know wheather it need to modifiy the grammar to rewrite sentences, for example:

"Marie," he'd say, over a drink. "Marie, one of these days, I'm going to be wealthy."

- He would tell me over a drink that one of these days, he is going to be wealthy.

Is it correct?
