What does a “quick question” below mean? Is a “quick question” different from an “urgent question” or an “easy question”?

Let me ask you a quick question. Did you like this?

Any comment would be appreciated.

Hi,

To me, a quick question is more of a short, brief way of asking something as opposed to a lengthy and complex question. "Quick" in this case doesn't denote urgency. Of course, the curiosity or need to know something is presente in a quick question or any other question. It's just that a quick question doesn't have to be asked now as an urgent question would be.

What Plin says is correct. Another aspect of this idiom is that the person asking a "quick question" expects that there will be a "quick, simple answer."

Hello, plin and Pete.

Thank you very much for your replies and comments. They really help, becasue I can't find any explanations for this expression in dictionaries at hand.
