The following sentences are a translation of Japanese into English. My question is which is more natural?

The sky is like an enormous canvas. Watching the clouds fade from one color to the next, I easily ( ).

The choices look as natural to me as the clouds you're talking about but if pressed, I would opt for (2) or (3) but they're just my lucky picks. :)
