Dear Teachers,

1) Let the day go on and on.

-What does this mean?

2) Give into it now.

-What does this mean?

3) When are you available?

-This means : when are you free?, right?

4) He has two children.

Thanks a lot.

1) Let the day go on and on.

-What does this mean?
"Go on and on" means to continue. This phrase is often used in a negative sense. Example: He went on and on talking; I nearly fell asleep. Sentence 1) seems to be a hope that the day will continue. Presumably the speaker is enjoying the day.

2) Give <strike>into</strike> in to it now.

-What does this mean?
The idiom is "give in" (two words). The meaning is surrender, yield.

3) When are you available?

-This means : when are you free?, right? Yes

4) He has two children.

-Can I say “ two childs”? No. The plural of child is children.
