Dear Teacher,

1) This kind of water is safe to drink.

- Is this sentence right?

2) Who was the last person to leave the office?

- Can I use “ leaving” in this sentence?

3) Every time I think of her, I feel broken-hearted ( about love).

- Is this sentence right?

4) I felt satisfied to have talked to/with her, although I’m not sure whether she will become my girlfriend or not.

- Is this sentence right?

Thanks very much.

1) This kind of water is safe to drink.

- Is this sentence right? (It's OK if you are describing a particular kind of water. It would be more usual to say, "This water is safe to drink.")

2) Who was the last person to leave the office?

- Can I use “ leaving” in this sentence? (Yes).

3) Every time I think of her, I feel broken-hearted. <strike>( about love)</strike>.

- Is this sentence right? ("About love" seems to confuse the sentence.
Omit "about love" and I understand that you are broken-hearted about "her." Include "about love" and I don't know whether you are broken-hearted about her or about love in general).

4) I felt satisfied to have talked to/with her, although I’m not sure whether she will become my girlfriend or not.

- Is this sentence right? (Yes).

Thanks very much.
